elcome to my new blog. If you came here looking for the old site, you'll notice that there are a few changes here. Actually, lots of changes...important ones so that hopefully my friends and clients can get to know a little bit more about me and my work. So here's a little background:

A few years ago, I was given what was an opportunity of a lifetime; the chance to work with a world-class team of photographers. I was drawn to their innovative style and forward-thinking mindset, and it was from there that our team and my passion for photography grew...and grew. Everyday since has been a learning experience for me, and photography continues to be a huge part of my life. I hope you enjoy this new site and feel free to leave your comments anytime. - Ryan

showtime: Hawaii bridal expo

07.24.09

WHEN:
5:00 PM

WHERE:
Neal Blaisdel Center, Honolulu

After hours of assembling and teamwork, the Visionari booth is complete and ready for the show to begin. It's pretty amazing to step back and see the finished result. We were so thankful for the turnout and positive feedback from this year's event and it was a nice surprise to meet with some of our clients who were at the event to look for more ideas for their upcoming weddings.

You'd never guess just how hard it was to get the set-up and decals "just right", especially with the extremely hot and humid weather we've been having.

After the rush to get everything up and assembled, the Dulce booth is ready for the show to begin.

We are very proud of our Dulce booth as its design and concept was recognized earlier this year by Crescent Hill Publishing as one of its 12 featured in-depth case studies on innovative marketing strategies and techniques. [Featured: Visionari blog, March 2009]

behind the scenes: hawaii bridal expo

WHEN:
11:00 AM

WHERE:
Neal Blaisdel Center, Honolulu

Last weekend, the Visionari and Dulce teams arrived bright and early for their appearance at the Hawaii Bridal Expo. Hours before the show starts, racks and walls come out of storage...and the painting (lots of painting) and assembling begins.

[In photo: Del, Johnny and Morgan hard at work.]

Behind the scenes, it literally takes hours to build the set-up, and thankfully everyone still had enough energy to work through the entire three-day event.

After a long evening of laughter and celebration...the couple finally had some time to relax and enjoy each others company.

The bride arrived early that day...leaving us just enough time to capture some portraits while she waited for the groom.
